Interrogative sentence |

Interrogative sentences are used to ask questions. There are two types of interrogative sentences:
A yes-no question asks if the entire facts expressed in the question are true (Is it true that...).
It is usually answered by yes or no.
A question word question asks for information about one particular part of the facts that are expressed in the question. Question words like wer, wann, wie, wieso, wohin, etc. ask about this particular part.
