The forms of the present tense are formed in the same way for both regular and irregular verbs (exceptions see below under Features).

Subjunctive I

ihr sagt ihr saget
sie sagen sie sagen

Present indicative

To form the present indicative, the person endings of the present are attached to the verb stem. The present tense does not have a tense-mood signal (TM).


Subjunctive I

To form the subjunctive I, the tense-mood signal e and the person ending of the preterite tense are attached to the verb stem.
