Verb accompanied by the reflexive pronoun "sich". The reflexive pronoun is identical with the subject. A distinction is made between true reflexiveverbs which always appear with a reflexive pronoun (sich schämen, sich beeilen) and reflexively used verbs with which the reflexive pronoun can be replaced by a noun or a personal pronoun (sich waschen - jemanden/etwas waschen).
